Disclaimer: This poem is specifically regarding catcalling and is in no means about anyone but those who cat call and make women - or any one - feel uncomfortable and worthless. It is however, from a woman's point of view as that is what I can truly attest to best.
Morality. Justice. Wrong or right. We often question these things and argue about the one right answer, but maybe it’s time we realize that there isn’t just one right answer.
My first picture post! These are some pictures that I was able to take over 2017 that I'm incredibly proud of!
In all of our lives, at some point, some one, has made us feel like our words and our opinions don’t matter. It’s a universal feeling of feeling unappreciated, unwanted and insignificant, so we apologize for caring and quickly catch ourselves before our opinions blurt them selves out! That needs to stop! My words matter and so do yours, let them be heard!
Everyone has insecurities and fears, I do too, and it’s easy to get sucked down the wormhole of “what if’s” and “I’m not good enough”. This is something I’m trying to get out of that. I’m creating my own alter ego! Read more about this challenge, and give it a try!
The recipe to happiness is a little more of courage, a little less of hesitation and a whole lot of desire to have fun! It's necessary to be a renegade and break free from the "caring too much about what others think" attitude of society, and to just do what makes you happy. I learnt this from two really special, fun individuals. This is their story.
It's really easy to judge people, or question their choices without knowing their problems and struggles. I recently found out about a struggle of a friend of mine, and it brought us closer together. That moment inspired me to write this poem.
